Laser drilling machine is a high-precision drilling equipment that uses laser technology and is suitable for drilling various materials.

The laser micro machining system is used for micro machining holes in gasket materials, preparing samples and sample environments for experiments such as diamond anvil slots. The system is based on pulse lasers (fiber lasers and green lasers are optional), with pulse durations ranging from ps to ns that can be customized. A shorter laser pulse duration can eliminate the need for thermal melting of the ablated material, leaving a clean edge after drilling (with appropriate post-processing). Through the tightly focused optical design, this machine can drill holes with diameters as low as nearly 10 microns and larger (in pre pressed thin gaskets, the 300 micron anvil surface corresponds to a target pressure of 30GPa, and the pre pressed thickness is generally within~40 microns, which is empirical data for reference only). The thinner the gasket, the smaller the micro hole taper, and the smaller the aperture can be achieved.
